Star lawyer Walter Stals finds a DVD in his letterbox showing his 20-year-old daughter Caroline entertaining men in a special way in her home. He quickly realises that the good reputation of his firm could be destroyed by the publication of this DVD. Therefore he arranges a meeting with Mark Vermaelen, the head of the vice squad in Ghent. Mark promises him to take care of it without causing a stir and hands the task over to his chief investigator Hannah Maes and her team. Hannah, however, is not convinced that this is a vice task, not even after it is confirmed that Caroline is working as a prostitute. Her interest is only piqued when Walter Stals becomes the victim of a brutal but mysterious crime a few days later.
