Els De Backer does not report that she was raped until two weeks after the crime. She reluctantly tells Hannah Maes and her team from the vice squad that she was knocked out in the car park of the Water Sport Centre. When her consciousness returned, she was lying next to her car, her clothes were torn and so were her panties. However, she does not remember the rape itself and cannot provide any information about the perpetrator. And if Nina, an acquaintance from the tennis club, had not persuaded her to do so, she would not have reported the crime at all. Hannah soon realises that Els is hiding something and finds out that she is trying to cover up an affair. But then another woman is raped and stabbed in exactly the same place. Hannah wants to know the truth from Els De Backer.
