The idyllic Moomin Valley enjoys peaceful days. But appearances can be deceiving. The arrival of a band of pirates whose ship has been wrecked on the reefs will disrupt the Moomins' quiet life and awaken their thirst for adventure. Accompanied by Snorkmaiden and Little My, the Moomins set sail in a small boat. Caught in a violent storm, they are shipwrecked on a desert island before reaching the French Riviera.
