Leipzig zur Messe

Short Film/History, Germany 1919

The Leipziger Messe used the film as an advertising medium at an early stage. This strip accompanies the guests from the arrival at the main station, through the distribution of information material to the allocation of rooms at the measuring office. In addition to the usual trade fair traffic in the city center, the exhibition palace "Specks Hof", opened in 1909, is presented with individual stands and fair novelties. Finally, you can see the original and unusual advertising removals typical of that time.
