Comeback

"Comeback" is the story of rock star Rocco (Eric Burdon), who realizes at the height of his career that he can no longer withstand the pressures of the music industry. He leaves the stage, his wife, his child, his home in California - the complete "American Dream" that he believed would give him everything - and retreats back to the streets. "Back to the streets, back to the roots" is now the motto for Rocco - he ends up in Berlin. Rocco's wife and child now live with his former lawyer, financially he is ruined and he is left with nothing. With the help of his friend Paul, he struggles to keep his head above water, but it is precisely this situation that brings him back to himself and through it he finds his freedom and his music again. In the end, Rocco triumphs with his music: "You can kill my body, but you cannot kill my spirit!"
