After completing her education at boarding school, Nelly becomes a passionate advocate for women's rights and joins the suffragettes in their fight. However, their progress is threatened when Minister Lord Ascue proposes legislation to halt their efforts. In response, the suffragettes uncover letters that could discredit the minister, which they plan to use to blackmail him. But will their daring scheme succeed in advancing the cause of women's rights? Die Suffragette is a German silent film in five acts by Urban Gad from 1913. It is one of the director's last surviving films.
